We're having a great time at Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte. We made it to Charlotte from Atlanta in about a 5.5 hours.. impressive for us. The kids were great.
Besides having a blast at the
indoor water park here at Great Wolf Lodge, Sebastian (10 years old) is absolutely loving
MagiQuest. MagiQuest is a
one-of-a-kind, live-action adventure game. Armed with high-tech wands, Sebastian must solve magical challenges throughout the resort to gain powers (and points) and move to higher levels of the game.
My 3 year old, Madelyn, went down one of the big water slides and that meant that I went down the water slide too. She went first and wasn't allowed to ride in my lap but she didn't even care.. she loved it and wanted to go down again and again! The kids and I covered every area of the indoor water park several times within about one hour then stayed for a long long long time, until I was too hungry to swim anymore.
We had dinner at
The Loose Moose Cottage in the lodge where I enjoyed ribs, shells and cheese, and salmon and topped all of that off with a piece of delightful chocolate cake.
The atmosphere at Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte is soothing despite having hundreds of kids of all ages running around. I sat in front of the large fireplace in the lobby after the kids enjoyed story time at the Clock Tower. Sebastian played with his new MagiQuest wand, pointing it at everything that he thought might possibly be activated by the wand. Funny! The lobby is large and cozy with comfortable couches and tables where families were eating, playing games, and planning out the next day's activities.
There aren't enough hours in the day to do everything there is to do here at Great Wolf Lodge! Learn more about why I'm at Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte..
