I hit up Goodwill today looking around. I had run into Big Lots to see if any good deals were to be found. I was looking for some blank cardstock to paint Christmas cards in my spare time (I think I can get it all done with hope and sometimes it works!).
But the line starting taking to long and I remembered last year the same thing happening. Big Lots could take some hints on efficiency from Aldi. I walked out.
Believe it or not I walked into Goodwill and immediately I found 4 pairs of Mary Jane pumps in size 9 and a half. Yes, God loves me! Then I just had to narrow it down to one (pair that is, I still have two legs).
These cute black pumps with a strap, are all leather from Spain and are Liz Claiborne. Which you might say, aha that is why she chose them. Actually though, it was none of the above influenced me, it was pure comfort.
Before trying on these babies, I had put on a pair of similar Highlights that were much newer looking but the difference was immediate when trying on the real leather pair. Much more comfortable, now mind you maybe not as trendy, but hopefully they will last a while. I am hard on shoes because I never find any I like. Most of the time I dislike what the major retailers are selling unless its a mary jane or a boot.
Yes they were $5.99 and yes I gave it a big shot of Bowling Alley Shoes disinfectant (that’s not a brand so don’t google it).
And while ZombieMommy might find a pair of shoes online for this price after coupon, I needed these because those Naturalizer Mary Janes I got last year are already peeling at the tips. I just don't have luck with shoes.
