Madelyn and I ventured out of our 10-mile weekday radius - What did we do?

Like a lot of moms I know, we have a 10 mile radius that we stay within during the week. My kids after-school activities are mostly located within 10 miles of us so when we venture out of our 10-mile radius it's a big deal and I tend to make a day of it so we can knock a few things out in one day.

Today, Madelyn and ventured out of our 10 mile radius and we had a busy and fun day.

Swim & Tennis membership for non-residents?

After I picked Madelyn up from preschool today, we checked out a Swim & Tennis club at nearby Ryland neighborhood in Marietta today and was told non-residents can't join. Ugh.

The neighborhood has been in development for about 3 years now and is about 1/4 finished.. if that. It's a beautiful neighborhood with nature trails, a kid pool, playground, etc and we live within walking distance. It would have been really nice and easy to go to the pool and playground there. You think the… Continue

Atlanta is #1 for what? Hint it's yellow.

This pollen is driving me crazy. The air is yellow, black cars are brown, and I can almost taste the pollen when I breathe. Ugh! Sebastian marked today as the first day of his yearly string of daily clinic visits to get eye drops after rContinue

Our visit to Busch Gardens - the first 1/2 hour..

We're at Busch Gardens In Tampa and so far the experience been relatively stress free. There are self service ticket centers so visitors don't have to wait in long lines if they know what they need. If you need special tickets (military discounts, year passes, etc) you'll need to go to the regular ticket purchase lines.

Our first stop inside Busch Gardens was the Zagoria Patio Bar where between the six of us, we enjoyed marinated chicken sandwiches, turkey hot dogs, a cheeseburger, ch… Continue
