I am a birth doula and an objective, reassuring presence during childbirth. The role of a birth doula is defined by the laboring woman and her birth partner. Each labor is unique and I adapt to the changing needs of the family who has hired me. I am a mother of 2 cloth diapered babies, working part time. I have my masters degree in social work and also managing nonprofit organizations, so it's going to be hard for me to walk away from that completely!! Atlanta really needs this service, so I'm going to give it a shot!!!
